Ranger Eddie Rigdon will offer the BSA certified training for use of chain
saws. Any adult over eighteen years of age may take the course which is now
required for use on any BSA property. Each person completing the instruction
will receive a card stating completion of the course. The course will last about
65 minutes, is free and covers safety, as well as some saw maintenance
tips. This is a good course even for experienced users of power saws.
Ranger Rigdon will offer the first course at the Council Office at noon on
Saturday, March 29. Persons interested can register with Tammy at 585-4391. A
course will also be offered in the York area at a later date as well as at the
OA Spring Meeting at Camp Bob Hardin on May 31.
